Beyonce would like to be known as “Sasha Fierce”

Just like the “Seinfeld” episode where George wanted everyone to call him “T-Bone,” Beyonce Knowles would like to be known by a bold new name.

The R&B singer has christened herself “Sasha Fierce” for her new double album, “I Am … Sasha Fierce,” due in U.S. stores on November 18, and has released a lengthy justification for the comical moniker.

“I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m on stage, this alter ego that I’ve created that kind of protects me and who I really am,” the former Destiny’s Child frontwoman said in a statement.”

So. One thing about SL [Second Life] certainly is, you have musical talents performing live that for one reason or another didn’t make it into RL mainstream. Nothing about not making it into RL mainstream or whatever stream within lifetime (see Aby Warburg, e.g.)–BUT theres amazing talents to discover. AND–it enables folks who can’t afford a live concert in RL to visit live music gigs.Of course you can argue what does one need live music for. I say it enriches some’s lifes. And no–I am not the only one. I can objectify that.

From my blogstatistics I notice from time to time search engine hits tickling in that contain searchword ‘interference’ in varying combinations with other searchwords like ‘media’, ‘culture’ and ‘wikipedia’ and ‘language’.   The wordpress service displaying search engine traffic to my blog does not show what search engines have been used, though.  They should appear in the referrerstatistics or be represented as ‘read posts’ but theres some irregularity I not yet have fully figured, which means I cannot really say what they say and whether they say anything that can be argued as data and if so, how.  So take these “statistics” so far just as Aufhaengers to point to a different way to search the web that comes along with 2.0 ware.

The tag  interference currently displays 1336 files [see Google for comparison]. A variety of uses and contexts show up, like ‘political interference’, ‘disobedient interference’,  interference related to wireless networks, technical interference related to communication between ports and devices, myths of interference and many more besides interference as a concept in physics that relates to wavelength.  [This parody amused me.]

boss realities

What is it that makes dreams to be so real that they impact the conscious? In the night’s last dream this morning I met a beloved person who has died last summer.  The plot was intervowen with other elements of my present like the new job I have at the airport and the farm I ve been working with horses at last fall. All of a sudden he was there, standing beside me. I said you? and fell around his neck giving him the biggest hug ever. He smiled and explained it all was a fake that had been undertaken.

When I woke up it was almost like the news of his death had just come in.

kyrill waters

Big wind outside tonight, category 2. Someone has put up an orkanblog. Storm warnings on the media all day, schools closed and traffic stands still. People are advised to stay in their houses on all channels and streets are totally empty.

I didn’t know ‘Orkan’ translates to ‘hurricane’. An Orkan is the same phenomenon as taifuns and hurricanes are. As one can look up on the Saffir-Simpson Scale Orkan Kyrill is not so much of a problem regarding wind but regarding the water that is pressed into the land. The North Sea is just one hour drive away. 85% of Bremen’s town area would be flooded by river Weser without an Orkan two times a day by nature, if there wasn’t a complexe system of dikes.

mozilla’s smile

mozillas_smile-screenshot-interference.JPG An hour ago or so I coincidentally for the first time browsed this page with firefox. Immediately my attention was caught by something that appeared on my blogroll widget in the right column. To be exact, my immediate action was to whipe away a spot of dirt from the screen. Closer examination turns out it is a smiley.

weather report

Today morning I went out with Owl for walkies and found outside being +15°C smooth air and stormy winds which is weird as we’re supposed to have minus 15°C to zero at this corner of the planet at this time of year. We have not had any frost here this winter yet and for subjective reasons I’m happy for that: No salt in the streets which means Owl and I non-handycapped can walk our paths.

Immediately a Michael Moore writing came into mind wherein he criticizes the average New Yorker gratefully enjoying unusual summerly weather in October.   I don’t like Moore’s polemics too much, especially for the success he has in Germany, feeding  antiamericanisms that openly circulate in the nation especially after 09/11.  Same people who admired him for his criticisms of the U.S. were pretty annoyed when in some book he took up commenting on germans and Germany and immediately within their reception he turned from being “a good american” to someone who should go after his own affairs. *lol.

Anyway, I wonder about the weather obviously having gone nuts.
